Production Blog: I’m Ms. Editor now


 Hey Blog back at it again with another post. Okay so this time things were done a little differently. As you guys know we did our film and our music and have everything down. Now all  that was needed was to piece it all together. With this we had to film again since we messed up you guys know this. When we filmed again I was like the boss because jenna didn’t really like know the right stuff or like good ideas. The creative shots like putting the phone in the fridge and stuff was me of course. But the rest of my ideas she said no to because she said it was extra stuff that wasn’t needed, but that’s what makes the video good. But whatever, Me and zoe trust her and hope it comes out good. But back to the point, I got to edit the video. Her editing is as just the important stuff like the sounds and position the clips and formatting it all but I did the rest. I got her computer and did the color of the film to where it depends on the mood that’s currently happening. I also did transitions to better the flow of the video so it was just shots put together. The quality of the video is okay didnt since the lighting wasn’t as good and Jenna didn’t really notice so I tried my best to make it clear. With all this I gave her back the phone and she finsihed it off with the credits. The placement she did wasn’t good since the credits went throughout the WHOLE VIDEO. So me and zoe are going to try and help her to give ideas as to what to do. This project is definitely the most difficult and time consuming but we’re definitely all trying our best to make it the best we can . Anyways guys it felt cool to be the editor, so far i’ve done it all. I was the actor, the filmer and the editor, pretty cool right. But yeah I HAVE TO GO IM IN CLASS. BYE FANS!

Production Blog: Helping Jenna

 HEY FANSS!! Im back with another blog about my music video. So at this point we finished filming at the beach and Amayas house . Once we finished the video we all thought we were done till we forgot we had to edit and put it all together. Before we actually did research on our editing and figuring out how to work it on apps, I helped Jenna do research. I went on tik tok of course and searched how to do split screen on cap cut. Cap Cut was the main app we used to format everything then trim and cut. I had to search up editing tips, things not do to, and the best short cuts on how to put it all together. During this process, my iphone storage was suffering. It was full of videos with tips on how to edit. This was jenna’s first time so of course it didn’t come out 100% but it’s okay it still looks good. The more projects we get, the more we’ll improve. Production Blog: A peer review

I also asked multiple friends for feed back but here’s me asking Giovanna on what she thinks .She also has media studies but she goes to a different school sadly. Hey guys Back at it again with another blog. This time, i’ve never done this before, but here’s a peer review. I know some of you are confused but a peer review is basically when you have a friend or a random person go over the work you’ve created or completed. However the feedback is both good and what needs to be worked on. For example, I had my friends Franshesca give feedback on what needs to be worked on. Of course I wasn’t suprised on her mentioning on the camera angles. We do need to finish editing that into our new redo. OBVIOUSLY our credentials still aren’t done since we haven’t had time to talk about who’s taking what position and the formatting of where to put them.
